I've always felt that the most exciting time of the NCAA Tournament seems to be the "First Four". There's something about the culmination of late season charm and the excitement of the tourney that makes it special.

ESPN/Joe Lunardi's projection as of March 13, 2014 |
Well, according to ESPN's
Joe Lunardi, the Terriers might play in one-- but who they will play is still up in the air. Currently, he has Wofford taking on fellow South Carolina school Coastal Carolina of Conway, S.C., to take on Villanova. However, just
three days ago, he had them in a play-in game against Alabama State to battle undefeated Wichita State.

CBS/Jerry Palm's projection as of March 13, 2014 |
Jerry Palm and
CBS, on the other hand, has them starting off in the second round against a familiar opponent to Terrier fans-- Wisconsin. Wofford
fell to the Badgers by four points in 2010, the year of the first Terrier NCAA Tourney bid in school history.
It does seem that if the Terriers start off in a play-in game, they have a very good chance of claiming their first ever tournament win.
As a Terrier fan, I must say, it feels good to have that lock next to Wofford's name.
NOTE: I am overwhelmingly glad to hear that Aerris Smith's surgery went well and would like to thank him for all he's done for the program (couldn't have made it without him).
