Terriers Stay Alive

I didn't want this to be a farewell post. Farewell, that is, to the Terriers' 2014 baseball campaign. It was turning into quite the thing of beauty: strong pitching, an impressive record, and the will to survive in the SoCon Tournament.

Thanks to only the Terriers themselves, this is absolutely not a farewell post.

Bracketology Update

As today's selection show nears, here's an update on the major outlets' projections:

SoCon Tried and True

Tonight's SoCon Championship game features Wofford and Davidson Western Carolina.  

The Terriers have looked great the last two games, cruising past The Citadel and Georgia Southern.

Year of the Terrier?

Although Wofford's nine game winning streak was snapped at the hands of Davidson on Saturday, I couldn't help but realize that this year's team has something special.  Just like those teams in '09 and '10 led by Noah Dahlman and co., the 2014 Terriers are performing amazing comebacks, great team play, and the will to play farther into March than restricted by the SoCon Tourney.  This team may just have what it takes to give the Mike Young and Wofford their third NCAA Tournament appearance.
